The LC4 was originally commissioned for the furnishing of a single villa in the Ville d' Avray, a commune in the western suburbs of Paris, France. History of the Designer, Le Corbusier Le Corbusier born in 1887 was a Swiss architect, designer, urbanist, writer and painter.
