Mindful Living: We know furniture. What is Mango Wood: We've selected Mango wood because of it's hard characteristics, the beauty of it's natural coloring and because it's an eco-friendly choice as it re-uses the wood from already spent Mango Fruit trees. Mango wood comes from the fruit tree mango. We harvest the wood for this table from commercial mango forests, used to feed the world from the biggest exporter of Mango fruit, India. Mango trees have a useful ideal fruiting lifespan of about 15 - 20 years, after which point the large trees were traditionally slash and burned or cut and left to rot (releasing CO2 into the atmosphere in the process). Seeking out a more eco-alternative way of building our furniture we've taken re-used this beautiful wood to create one of a kind pieces of furniture for your everyday use! Mango wood has a nice rose, brown, yellow natural tone in varying degrees. Because of the varying degrees of coloration it matches well with a lot of different finish and color tones. It does best with Oak, elm, brown, Grey, Blue, rose and many other finish and paint tones. What is Midcentury Modern: came about in the mid 30's. It's keystone elements are organic lines, simple styling and a touch of industrial influence. What is Chevron: The original zig zag design that makes up the Chevron look is credited to Tai and Rosita Missoni in 1953. It's was originally knitted into high quality fabrics and with vibrant colors. Accompany this table with your own collection of bright and clean accessories to complete the story!
